Brooklyn, NY (March 13, 2019) – Ground Floor Gallery is thrilled to present the first exhibition of our 2019 exhibition season, “Undisclosed: Visual Conversations,” featuring New York City-based painter, Ronald Hall. Raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Hall spent many of his adult years in Seattle, Washington before moving to New York City in 2013 to wholeheartedly pursue a career as a visual artist.
Gallery owner, Krista Scenna, has followed Hall’s career since meeting the artist during a visit to the NARS Foundation studios in Sunset Park, Brooklyn and subsequently including his work in a group exhibition at Ground Floor Gallery in the spring of 2014.
The Coming. 58″ x 68″. Oil on canvas. 2017.
Five years later, we are thrilled to introduce Hall to a wider audience in his first solo exhibition in New York City, “Undisclosed: Visual Conversations,” opening at the gallery Friday, March 22nd, 2019 and remaining on view through Sunday, April 14th, 2019. A concise selection of paintings created in the past two years, the work on view is steeped in the enigmatic narrative, mood, layered composition and rich color tones that the artist has honed in recent years.
