ARTIST BIO:
Born in the South of France, artist Véronique Gambier now lives and works between Brooklyn and Ghent, New York. The “Apertures” series – her latest body of work – captures single yet multi-faceted moments as they unfold. The artist’s entire body, arm, hand, and brush flow in a continuous motion to produce a direct mark. Working exclusively with original, handmade paints, Gambier’s “Apertures” offer saturated tones that are truly one-of-a-kind.
