In 2013, independent curators Krista Scenna and Jill Benson founded Ground Floor Gallery, Park Slope’s primary commercial art space. Ground Floor Gallery connected local emerging and mid-career artists to new art buyers and audiences through curated exhibitions, collector workshops, studio tours and other events/partnerships through spring of 2020. Ground Floor Gallery continues its mission as an online advisory led by owner and co-founder, Krista Scenna, by providing professional development for artists and art consulting and commissioned artwork for new art buyers.
